The Heurich House Museum presents a special Art All Night: Dupont Circle + DC Beer All Week(end) “Mini Markt” on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 5pm-12am in the Museum’s biergarten, 1921. Explore turn-of-the-century DC brewing history in our HOME/BREWED exhibit while enjoying a specially curated menu of beers from DC Brewers’ Guild members, and shop from 10 local makers.

The museum’s biergarten, 1921, is located in the historic carriage house and beautiful Castle Garden, and features Oktoberfest tables and fire pits, in the middle of Dupont Circle. The special menu will feature beer from DC Brewers’s Guild Members including; Atlas Brew Works, Bluejacket, City State, DC Brau, Other Half, Right Proper, Red Bear, Sankofa Beer Company, Soul Mega, and Urban Garden Brewing plus our historic revival of Senate Beer, along with wine, cocktails, and snacks.

The special edition “Mini Markt” will feature makers in their first 5 years of business who will sell their wares - including handmade candles, jewelry, pottery, clothing, art prints, and more. Vendors will be announced during September on the museum’s Instagram, @heurichhouse.

HOME/BREWED, located in the carriage house gallery, features objects from our collection of over 1,000 items – including bottles, cans, signs, and branded objects of every kind – from the Chr. Heurich Brewing Co. (1873-1956), Washington, DC’s hometown brewery.

This event is free to attend. Registration is recommended, but not required. Masks are recommended in indoor spaces. 1921, a Biergarten, supports the museum’s Education & Small Business Development programs.
